The big story on TV this week was celebration. Celebration of *Saturday Night Live'*s 40th Anniversary (aka #SNL40) and celebration of icon/legend/adorable dancer Stevie Wonder. It's appropriate that the Stevie tribute on CBS was sponsored by the Grammys, as he has been helmed with providing the telecast with #GrammyMoments for ... ever? It ain't a Grammys without an appearance by the Wonder man, after all. But besides the one-offs and such, President's Day left the late night crop a bit thin. It seems all the Oscar hopefuls have completed their "For Your Consideration" rounds, and Jimmy Fallon went back to New York (lame), so the circuit was considerably quieter this week. But in any case, we've still got Neil Patrick Harris, Sigourney Weaver, and Taylor Swift fan-cam dancing with Jimmy Fallon. Could be worse!
It's the Murderers' Row of Celebrity Jeopardy contestants!
And now comes the part where Sigourney Weaver graces us with her presence.
Solving racism: There's an app for that!
Just Jane, Tina, Amy and the shark honoring decades of Weekend Update. (Suspiciously, no acknowledgment of Cecily Strong...)
Pull up a chair and have a glass of pinot with an American treasure, Neil Patrick Harris. See you on Sunday night, Neil!
Is this dance troupe hosting auditions? Can we sign up somewhere?
If you need us we'll be at church for the next nine minutes. Feel free to join.
