Some celebs are known for their tattoos – Angelina Jolie, Rihanna, (increasingly) Justin Bieber – but many more have little to no visible ink. Shopped Tattoos imagines a world where all our favorite pop culture icons (Spock!) are covered in tats like they're Lil Wayne.
The Tumblr is the work of Seattle artist Cheyenne Randall, who told Today as his work was gaining steam on social media this week that initially he started by drawing on celebrity photos and decided to "step it up" and learn Photoshop. "Thus began a slight obsession with seeing out of pure curiosity what some of my favorite iconic personalities would look like perhaps if they were in a parallel universe or took another path in life," he said. So far he's put fresh ink on a disparate slate of stars from Bryan Cranston (as Breaking Bad anti-hero Walter White), Dolly Parton, and Matthew McConaughey's classic Dazed and Confused character Wooderson.
