We know, we know. We featured SZA a couple of weeks ago. But her album actually came out this week—and it's even better than we hoped. So get on board; while you're at it, check out new music from young phenom Elle Varner, and a stellar live performance by SOHN. If you're more into remixes, Evian Chris put together an ethereal trap version of Young Thug's "Stoner" that...well, let's just say it suits the lyrical content. There's even some video-game music in there, to celebrate last week's arrival of FTL for the iPad. Don't say there's not room for everyone on this great ship we call the Weekend Playlist!

As usual, we’ve added the tracks to our ongoing Spotify playlist of great new music, and created a standalone YouTube playlist for this week. Keep the recommendations coming.
