Like its predecessor, Beautiful LEGO 2: Dark, out next month, compiles work from dozens of LEGO artists. Unlike its predecessor, though, it includes a number of MOCs (a community acronym meaning "My Own Creation") that delve into decidedly nontraditional territory. From zombies to hellscapes and asylums to tragic shipwrecks, it's a feast for the senses---as long as they're not too delicate.

"In the richness of chocolate and the thrill of the unknown, darkness can delight," Doyle writes in the preface. And he's right. So, with Halloween upon us, we thought it was only right to pull together a few of our favorite masterpieces. Whether your thing is creepy insects or homages to neoclassical paintings (seriously), we've got you covered. Click on to get your, uh, brick on.
